Butcher's House Brasserie Costa Mesa
If you told me you were visiting Orange County for just one day and wanted to splurge on one great meal, I'd tell you to go to Butcher's House Brasserie. Their dry aged ribeye is the best steak I've ever had in my life, and the French onion soup is absolute perfection. It's just a really good French restaurant with incredible food, a relaxed atmosphere, with none of the pretentiousness you might expect from a French steakhouse. This is my favorite restaurant in Orange County.
