Skimboarding on Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach

I was watching the local kids skimboarding at the wedge in Newport Beach yesterday and I made a short video. All of the kids on the peninsula own skimboards. They usually ride in a designated area to the left of the Balboa Pier. I don't recommend buying a board unless you have a lot of free time on your hands. They say it takes years of practice to get any good.
